Parking Information for La Jolla Symphony & Chorus Events
To ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience, please review the updated parking and shuttle service details for our events at Mandeville Auditorium.
Mandeville Loop Parking Lot Update:
The lot at the end of Mandeville Loop (P416), previously designated as our VIP parking, is no longer available for use.
VIP Parking – Faculty Club Parking Lot
The Faculty Club Parking Lot is reserved exclusively for VIP concert attendees.
Due to its close proximity to Mandeville Auditorium, there is no cart service available for this lot.
Note: A wheelchair ramp is available on the right hand side of the Faculty Club leading to the path to Mandeville but we strongly encourage those with accessibility needs to park at Scholars Parking and utilize our courtesy cart shuttles.

Regular and Accessibility Needs Parking – Scholars Parking Structure
The Scholars Parking Structure is designated for regular attendees and those with mobility impairments.
Complimentary cart service is available to assist patrons with mobility impairments in traveling between the Scholar Lot and Mandeville Auditorium.
- Availability:
- Saturdays: 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM
- Sundays: Noon to 5:00 PM
Cart Shuttle Details:
- Two UCSD-branded carts will shuttle mobility-impaired patrons in a continuous loop between the Scholars Parking Structure and Mandeville Auditorium.
- Saturday Shuttle Times:
- Pre-concert: 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM
- Post-concert: 9:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- Sunday Shuttle Times:
- Pre-concert: Noon – 2:00 PM
- Post-concert: 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Important: Please wait at the designated shuttle stop at the front of the Scholars Parking Structure for the next cart.

Concert Times and Parking Rates
Saturday’s Concert Times: 7:30 PM-9:30 PM and Sunday’s Concert Times: 2:00 PM-4:00 PM
(Please arrive early to find parking and walk to the auditorium.)
The current visitor parking rate on weekends is $2.10 per hour, with a maximum charge of $8.40. Pay at Pay Stations in the parking structures (you need to enter your license plate number and pay with Visa, Master Card, or American Express) or with ParkMobile, an app which you can download to your smartphone. The ParkMobile app is very convenient if you park at UCSD from time to time. (Paper parking passes have been replaced with electronic devices that monitor use, and you no longer need to put the receipt in your vehicle).

Visitor (V) Parking Rates
- Weekends $2.10/hr. (maximum $8.40)
Pay Stations – Stations can be found in all parking lots. A license plate number will be needed to enter into the pay station.
Pay stations sell Visitor (V) permits. Pay stations do not dispense change. Pay with any combination of the following:
- Cash (exact change), Visa, MasterCard or American Express
- Pay with ParkMobile App— Pay for and extend parking sessions (the phone application can be found in your phone’s app store). You do not have to go to a pay station if you use the ParkMobile App.
A properly dated V pay station permit provides visitor parking in these spaces:
- V: 24 hours
- D: 24 hours
- S: 4 p.m. – 7:40 a.m.
- B: 4 p.m. – 7:40 a.m.
- A: 4 p.m. – 7:40 a.m. (not valid where posted “A permit required 24 hours a day, 7 days a week)
